God’s Timing Is Truly the Best

Sometimes, life takes us through unexpected paths before leading us to our true destination. That’s the story of Amb. Abdulrazak Shuaibu, a determined Nigerian whose journey proves that delays are not denials.

He first graduated from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, with a degree in Microbiology, and today, he’s celebrating a dream come true  his admission to study MBBS at the same university.

It’s a story of faith, discipline, and perseverance, one that inspires thousands of students who might currently feel stuck or uncertain about their path.

    The Dream That Never Faded

For Abdulrazak, becoming a doctor wasn’t just a career choice, it was a lifelong goal. But like many Nigerian students, circumstances led him down a different academic path.

Instead of giving up, he decided to make the best of every opportunity. He completed his BSc in Microbiology and also earned a Diploma in Nutrition from IGNOU, strengthening his background in health sciences.

Still, the dream of wearing a white coat never faded. Quietly, he began again, he purchased another JAMB UTME form, stayed consistent with his studies, and told no one about it.

    He said

From the journey to pick up the UTME form to yesterday, I kept all this to myself. I was focused on the goal. They said work in silence and let success make the noise  that’s what I love doing most,

And when the result came, success truly made the noise for him. He scored 254 in his JAMB UTME, 354 in the school Post-UTME, and an aggregate of 304, which earn him a place in the MBBS program at ABU Zaria.

    Faith, Focus, and Family Support

Behind every great success story lies faith and strong family support. Abdulrazak never forgets to credit Allah and the encouragement he received from his parents.

    He said:

Once you make a decision, especially one supported by your parents, put your trust in Allah and push for it. Giving up should never be an option, and quitting shouldn’t be considered either.

These words are not just motivational quotes; they come from real experience from someone who faced setbacks, stayed focused, and eventually won.

    Dedicated to Every Young Dreamer

Abdulrazak dedicates his success to all young people who choose to follow their hearts, no matter how long it takes. Over the years, he has mentored many students, some of whom are now in medical school themselves.

“This achievement is dedicated to all young individuals who refuse to let others interfere with their choices and who persist even after facing failures,” he said.

His story sends a strong message: your dreams are never out of reach unless you stop chasing them.

“Your dream is dead on arrival the moment you give up.”

    Grace Upon Grace

Now embarking on his new journey in Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), Abdulrazak remains grateful

“May Allah make the journey ahead smoother than easy. It’s time for me to receive another round of congratulations from all of you.”

Indeed, it’s a well-deserved success, one that shows what happens when preparation meets divine timing.
