How to Pay ABU School Fees (Step-by-Step Guide)
Follow the steps below to pay your ABU school fees easily:
- Visit the ABU Student Portal: https://portal.abu.edu.ng
- For new students: Login with your JAMB Registration Number and your state name (in lowercase) as the password.
- For returning students: Login using your Matric Number and password.
Note: For New students you must complete physical screening before accessing the student portal.
Once you log in:
Click on “Profile” and update all your personal details including your religion, as your religious dues (MSSN or FCS) are added to your school fees.
Payment Steps
- Click on Fees, then choose between ABU Wallet or Remita Payment.
Tip: The ABU Wallet option often experiences glitches during registration periods. Therefore, it’s safer to use the Remita payment method.

How to Book or Reserve Hostel in ABU
After paying your school fees:
1. Log in to the student portal** and click on Accommodation.
2. Select your preferred hostel and click Load.
3. You’ll see available rooms (green = available, white = taken).
4. Choose your room and click Reserve.
5. Note: Reservation lasts for 3 days. If payment is not made within this period, your booking will expire.

After payment, proceed for hostel clearance with the following Documents:

- Accommodation payment slip
